Ecotherapy & Sound for workplace wellbeing

My professional experience in the coporate, mental health and family violence sectors (including time as a family violence trainer), along with my lived experience of vicarious trauma and burn out, followed by my subsequent healing journey; a journey which has led me to be very passionate about helping both employees and workplaces develop sustainable and accessible wellbeing practices.

I am here with my professional and lived experience to offer a trauma-informed space for teams to come together and experience the practices of ecotherapy & sound healing, delivered in an accessible way using evidence-based and scientific research, and infused with holistic practices such as forest bathing and meditation. These sessions are tailored to your team's needs and create a safe space for everyone to learn something new together with options of indoor and outdoor locations. My multi-sector experience means I can adapt the session to suit all levels, ensuring all participants are safely guided to experience, learn and are equipped with tools to take with them to increase their wellbeing and sustainability.

Thrive: the day retreat - coming soon!

THRIVE: The Day Retreat is coming very soon. This retreat is specially designed for frontline workers and covers the following topics:

  • How to identify and address vicarious trauma

  • Building your own self-care plan

  • Building a self-care plan for your team

  • Exploration of wellbeing activities to create workplace sustainability

Including the above topics, the retreat will have the unique lens of nature-based wellbeing practice, including a guided bushwalk, meditation and sound healing, all adapted to your team's needs.

My wellbeing journey has taught me that self-care is a unique practice, one that must be developed over time, with flexibility to change as you grow. I believe that having a solid self-care plan in place is vital on an individual basis, but it's equally as important to have a self-care plan as a team and time to attend to your wellbeing and the team's wellbeing in the workplace. This is particularly important if your work involves working with traumatic content, such as emergency services workers, health and social workers. As a former frontline family violence specialist practitioner, I bring my lived experience and understanding of this space, along with excellent facillitation skills in a trauma-informed environment; ensuring you are held in a safe and empowering space.
